HALO-Flight's mission-ready Flight Crews consist of expert pilots, including former military members, along with nationally certified ER and ICU experienced paramedics and nurses. The crews provide critical care services, including a lifesaving pre-hospital blood transfusion program, increasing patient survival rates. HALO's number one priority is the safety of our crews and the patients we care for. In 2023 HALO-Flight flew 1,314 patients covering 26 counties in South Texas and more than 28,000 square miles.
