Arms Wide has always focused on finding permanent homes for children who, because of their circumstances, would otherwise grow up in the foster care system, never having had permanent families of their own. To remove any socio-economic barriers, the agency charges no fees for its services.

Arms Wide works very closely with prospective adoptive families to determine the needs of the child(ren) and to help the family meet those needs. A coordinator works with the family through each stage of the adoption process. The coordinator will prepare the family for the joys and challenges of parenting these extraordinary children, provide ongoing support services, help ensure the legal finalization of the adoption, and remain involved throughout the post-adoption period.
