Serving Others by Providing Help and Creating Hope is what we do daily. Our programs reach through 12 counties and have provided more than half a million people with assistance since Catholic Charities opened in 1965.
We have placed ourselves where the need is the greatest and the resources are the least. We intentionally reach out to the poorest and most vulnerable. We do it by addressing our clients' spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial needs and by promoting family and individual self-sufficiency. We work to reduce and eliminate poverty, support families, and empower communities. We advocate for social changes that will broaden a person's opportunities for growth and independence.
Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi serves the 12 counties of the Diocese of Corpus Christi: Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio. 100% of your donation stays local.
We serve regardless of race, color, religion, and country of origin. Your support directly benefits our services which include assisting with and or operating 6 food pantries; emergency and disaster assistance; family and individual counseling; financial assistance; services for the disabled; immigration services; self-sufficiency programs; annual Community Christmas food baskets and Toys for Tots event; and more through the following programs:
