The absence of fathers affects everyone and every community. When this issue isn't addressed, it continues to spread, impacting more and more people locally, nationally, and even around the world. While this crisis can't be solved overnight, we believe that by changing lives-one child at a time-we can see amazing results. Every young person, mom, mentor, or volunteer who is positively impacted will spread that positivity to others, creating a cycle of "changed lives changing lives."

The Reality of Fatherlessness:
- 18.4 million kids live without a father figure at home.
- 4 times more likely to live in poverty.
- 7 times more likely to become pregnant as teens.
- 71% of high school dropouts.
- 63% of youth suicides.
- 85% of youth in the prison system.
- 90% of homeless and runaway youth.
- 75% of youth in substance abuse centers.

Many organizations address the problems that come from fatherlessness, but most only treat the symptoms. Majesty Outdoors is different because we focus on the root cause: fatherlessness. As a faith-based nonprofit, we offer hope to youth and single moms through mentorship and outdoor programs, helping them build strong foundations.

Our Mission and Vision: Majesty Outdoors is dedicated to spreading awareness and offering solutions to the fatherless epidemic through mentorship. We partner with local communities to form TideChanger Mentor Chapters. We work with community partners to recruit and train leaders, mentors, and volunteers, giving them the tools to build relationships with fatherless youth and their families. Our vision is to empower fatherless youth to reach their full potential and become leaders in their communities, grounded in love, faith, and purpose.

Our Holistic Approach: We recognize that helping fatherless youth means supporting their whole environment. That's why we also encourage and empower single moms through our "Estrellas" life coaching program, which focuses on life skills and personal growth. By mentoring not only youth but also their siblings and mothers, we create lasting changes that impact generations.

Empowering Youth for Free: Majesty Outdoors provides free, evidence-based training and curriculum to empower these incredible young people to learn, grow, and find hope. Our goal is to help them become everything God intended them to be, completely free of charge. We are committed to breaking the cycle of fatherlessness.

Mentoring Works!

Mentoring makes a big difference in youth's lives. Youth with a mentor are:
- 52% less likely to skip school,
- 37% less likely to miss a class,
- 27% less likely to use alcohol,
- 46% less likely to start using illegal drugs,
- 90% more likely to want to mentor others in the future,
- 76% more likely to aim for college, and
- 59% more likely to improve their grades.


In addition to this positive impact, our scholarship program provides life-changing opportunities. Each TideChanger Chapter can nominate one senior each year for a four-year, $20,000 scholarship to college or trade school.

Our Reach: Majesty Outdoors has TideChangers Mentorship and Estrellas Life Coaching Chapters in Flour Bluff, Westside Corpus Christi, Robstown, Alice, and Portland, with future launches in Rockport and other communities in 2025 and beyond. Majesty Outdoors also signed a three-year partnership with CCISD, launching TideChangers after-school programs at Cunningham and Driscoll Middle Schools, with plans to expand across CCISD middle schools.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to inspire fatherless youth to become the strong, positive leaders our communities need. With faith and a caring community, these youth can become change-makers, breaking cycles and creating brighter futures for all.
